square frame

So I've noticed I have a very boxy square frame, no matter how much weight I loose or how tone I get, its like a straight line from my ribs down. Are there exercises that can make me appear to have a waist line? Or to make me appear to have some sort of curves?

if you work on your lats and shoulders- it gives you a more V shape- creating the impression of a narrower waist.0

Also wide-stance squats and deadlifts, using heavy weights, to build your lower body.0

Same here. Will try some of these as well.0

I was just researching how to make my waist smaller (I know I have to lose fat first) & came across this article: http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/sexy_female_training . The part about the Brittany Spears syndrome is what really made me think about what I have been doing & what my last personal trainer had me doing. He gives suggestions at the end of exercises to do to create the shape you're looking for.0
