The title is pretty self explanatory, I understand the concept just would like some opinions on what I should use. I am 5'7" currently stuck at 158 ( 1lb down last month and none this month), been using TDEE- __% since February 1 and have dropped 9 lbs. I just want some opinions on whether I should go to a 10% deficit from 15%. Thanks in advance.

    10%.
Have you taken a break and eaten at maintenance?
If you've been dieting for 5 months then I think you should take 2-4 weeks off dieting, still watch calories but eat at maintenance. Then jump right back in at -10% and it should melt away.

I have not gone to maintenance, probably because I have a bachelorette party trip at the end of June that I was trying to slim down for. I think I will do maintenance for 2 weeks then back to -10% for the two weeks leading up. Thanks!

Yes, the recommended is dieting for 4-6 weeks and then a full diet break eating at maintenance (of course adjusting the maintenance to the new weight you achieved). 10-14 day break. Then back to dieting.

Personally, I feel that within 10 lbs of goal that a 10% deficit is better but YMMV.

That's roughly .5lbs per week, which is right about where you should be. I'd keep doign what you've been doing personally.

Is there even a meaningful difference between 10% and 15%? At 2000 cals, it's only 100 calorie difference. At 1500 cals it's only 75. I wouldn't get too worked up about it either way to be perfectly honest.
