I have been looking at protien supplements as a cost effective protien source, to add to oatmeal or drunk as a shake. I hear that many can be a little hard to digest. Any recommendations? Walmart recommendations especially?
FWIW i tolerate soy products and cottage cheese/greek yogurt very well. I tend to have a harder time with eggs and higher fat cheeses.

bonus if it comes in a mild flavor like banana or vanilla.0

I use Vegan Smart All in one. It is protein with vitamins, super food complex, probiotics, amino acid profile. Tastes really good! I get it at Vitamin Shoppe $30, and you'll have to add your own banana! Otherwise look for a whey isolate, they remove the lactose and have little to no cholesterol!0

I like the muscle milk brand. Eas is hard on my stomach but I can't pin it to any particular ingredient. There are plenty to choose from.0
