When do you know if you sit down too much?

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with something that has really been bothering me lately.

I have read many articles now on the dangers of sitting. Some say that sitting at a desk and in your car etc is unhealthy and increases your chance of all sorts of "bad" things happening to you and decreasing life expectancy?

I am 20 and try to be pretty healthy and walk when I can, however I do travel quite a bit by bus as it takes me two hours to get to the nearest city, which I go to twice a week usually. I also enjoy going to the cinema and watching movies.. but lately I find it very hard doing this things!

I am getting more and more anxious about this idea of sitting and I find I'm putting of watching films, and traveling to meet friends and family, simply due to sitting down for long periods of time. I also stand when no one is around at meal times.. despite kind of wanting to just sit?

Is this something I don't need to be so paranoid about, or am I right to be avoiding such things?

I do feel it's getting in the way of my life a little :( Please help!
