Hi from a hopeful newbie!

Hi everyone. Well, I've survived my first day trying to lose weight, but really do need all the help I can get! I've not gone hungry, and still managed to keep to my calorie allowance, so feeling quite pleased with myself. Exercise really is my downfall though, and is undoubtedly going to be my biggest challenge, so aiming to start slowly and build it up.

    Hi! Welcome to mfp! I hope you find this site as helpful as I have. I have lost 62lbs. and am the fittest I have ever been in my entire adult life. When I started I was only able to do 5 minute workouts at a time. Now I can go for two hours (if I have time)! Just remember to log everything and take one day at a time. Best of luck to you! =)
  • Wow that's amazing, well done. I have longstanding problems with my back so will be taking is easy on the exercise front to start with and build it up, but I'm ready for the challenge!
