    Make better food choices, get a better bang for your calorie buck. You can eat a LOT of lean protein for the same calories as a small serving of rice or pasta. Use a food scale, read labels, and eat mindfully.

    When I eat a stir fry for example, I only take a third of a serving of rice, but lots of the veggies and chicken (made with minimal oil!!)

    as OP has not provided any information about current intake, if she is restricting certain foods, trying to eat clean, how long dieting, etc..it is impossible to answer...
