sports bras for a small cup size

Smaller cup sized ladies, help! I am trying to replace sports bras that are literally over 15 years old. In between the time I bought them and now, however, it seems everyone has stopped putting clasps on minimal sports bras. I ordered three online to try (yes, I know, go into a shop where you can see and feel them, blah, blah...) and the construction of them was totally over the top. I'm a 40 chest size, but between A-B cup size. These bras were first of all, made with twice the layers of fabric necessary. Then, one of them had (and I kid you not) FOUR freaking hooks on the back. FOUR?? Really? For a bra sized for an A-B woman? Going without is out of the question--these girls nursed three children well past the recommended age of 6 months. However, I'm not holding cantaloupes to my chest. And while I'm on my rant, why oh WHY are the more minimal bras without clasps?? Who designs these? Do these people work out? Do they sweat?? There is nothing worse than trying to get a stinky wet bra off over your head. I'm not 20 anymore. And I don't need to tweak my back doing something as normal as trying to get out of my clothes and into the shower.
OK, rant over. Sorry. Help...
TL:DR Bra size 40A or B, looking for something minimal with a clasp to get in and out of
Thanks,
~Curly

Moving Comfort has the right size with hooks.0

Ugh. I tried two of theirs. One even says "high impact" as if there is something to impact at my cup size.0

I love your post. Lol. I don't have any recommendations. I do to high impact but I don't have any sports bras with the clasps. But I would suggest Marshalls and TJ Maxx right now. They have quite the selection of sports bras right now for the new year.0

I recently bought a 2 pack at Walmart. Either hanes or fruit of the loom. So comy and with clasps!! They come with removable pads which at first I thought was stupid but then realized they actually made me look like I still had boobs. Very stretchy soft material.0

Heh, and see, I'll pull a sweaty bra over my head all the live long day before I deal with clasps digging into my back during a workout. But I agree the concept of low, medium, and high impact is hilarious for us!
This one claims an XL fits 38A/B-40A:

I can't tell whether this one would work as a sports bra or not, but the XL goes up to 40B:

Bare Necessities has a bunch of options for 40B, not so much for 40A. Not just Moving Comfort. Many are clasp back or front:

Walmart has these Fruit of the Loom Front Close ones, style 96014. (I need to get something like this actually, my shoulders pop out with the ones with the regular back closure. Regular bras you can just shimmy down, but not sports bras.)
Amazon reviews suggest they fit snug and the cups are on the small side

I agree with previous poster..I'm an 1 barely b cup and have had success with Title9. It's been a few year since I purchased, but this one looks most like a clasp one I have and it works.

I think it's called the 24/7. But look at TItle9. I hear you with the over the head off/on problem..but I've bought a these from them too and I can get them on and off...50 YO.

I have learned more about bras on mfp this week than in eight years of marriage. Why I read these threads is a valid question though.0
