Hello, I am looking for some help form the community. I am becoming more active and losing weight. I am at 1800 calories a day. I feel a little bored eating now and then but nothing like I am starving. Its manageable with an apple or orange. For the last two weeks weeks I am feeling pretty good. I bike for 20 minutes a day. I do core exercising until I am in shape enough to do other core like dips and chin ups. I do squats, dead lift and shoulder presses, lap pull down (Machines) 3x a week if not more. I only lift to strengthen my core. I am not so vain to think I need big arms or vanity exercises. I do yoga or stretching daily.
I calculated my calorie intake for the weight I want to be. 194 lbs. Just existing I would need 2503 Calories a day. My workouts would gear me to an additional 2242 a day. I know these are guides. Its been many years since I exercised or actually counted calories. My plan was to introduce another 300 calories every 6 weeks until I hit my target weight and health goals. I figure this would be a good way to ensure my intake raises with my health goals. What is your thoughts. I am interested in knowing.
Thank you so much for your time.

SO I have increase my intake form 1800 to 2000. While I am losing weight. I do not want to lose to fast. I plan on owning and living on a boat in the future and would like to take off my shirt and not like like a third sail. SO I figured I would increase my calories 300 every six weeks or so to get to the weight and fitness level I wish to be at.
As can be seen in my logs. I lift -4 5 times a week when I can nothing super macho just my core. Squat machine, bench and rear row, then off days are shoulder press. Lat pulldown and Fly machine, light to moderate weight . 3 sets of 13 to 15 reps. I do Yoga daily. DDP and regular when I am able. And I bike for 5 miles 5-6 times a week. I will gradually increase my Yoga and biking time by adding some aerobics in there.
I figure I should be at fighting weight in about spring of next year. I know its a journey. I take as such. I do wish to thank everyone who adds to the community with thier personal success and stories, even when we see you struggling, it inspires me, and I am sure the rest of us. Thanks for following long with me.0
