"Dont be mad at the results you're not getting from the hard work you're not doing."0

I'm not much for motivational quotes, but I read one on here last week that I really like. I probably don't remember it exactly, but :
--Will power is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets.--
I mentally added that, like a muscle, overexertion can lead to failure.0 -
"If someone get you lemons, say *kitten* it and bail."
Just kidding..."It's not the blowing of the wind that determines your destination, it's the set of the sail."
So let's get on it and set a beautiful sail that will help us guide and get through those rough waters ahead. WE CAN DO IT!!!!0 -
"Work out because you love your body, not because you hate it."
"Exercise regularly. It's better than punching someone in the face."
"If it doesn't scare you a little bit, it's probably not enough."
"Your mind will quite 100 times before your body every does. Feel the pain and do it anyway...."
"There's a beast in every woman and it stirs when you put a barbell in her hands."
"Look in the mirror...that's your competition."0 -
"We can not become what we want to be by remaining what we are."
"Do not be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try."
"In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure."0 -
"If you're too busy to workout...then your priorities need to change." (I need this one a lot).
"The tragedy of life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach."
"you are entirely up to you. Make your body. Make your life. Make yourself."
"Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent."
"A river cuts through a rock not because of its power but its persistence."0 -
"Don't blame the holidays, You were fat in August."
It may be harsh but it's true in many cases.0 -
"Be a warrior, not a worrier"
"Not perfect, but it's mine" - A line from a Tim Minchin song which I love
"Get started and then see how you feel" - Motivation to get me out the door and I never look back0 -
"I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship."0
-
If you do the work, you don't need to worry about it.

Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.0

One of my favorites is "sweat more, b*tch less."
I printed a cover for my fitness journal and added that as one of (many) phrases. I got the spacing wrong so it says "sweat more, b*tch" and the "less" ended up on a different line.
