Just an idea, get a watch that has a pedometer and an activity monitor. I have the Garmin Vivofit but I would do your own research and find what you feel fits your needs the best.
The vivofit has a red bar that indicates when you have been inactive for too long. You will be surprised how much that will motivate you to get up and walk or exercise. The red bar is Evil!
Logging everyday will also motivate you. But whatever you do make sure to eat healthy, cutting to many calories has proven to be ineffective.
