Watching Carb and Fat Percentages

My fitness gives me percentages for the carbs/fat/protein. They have me set at 50/30/20. Are these good percentages to lose by? Should I stay under these percentages the best I can? Some days it seems very hard and I am not sure if I should follow them like I do my calories. Also does anyone eat there exercise calories?

if you goal is primarily fat loss then just worry about hitting your calorie goal that MFP gave you …

It seems like someone else was just asking about that. Personally, I would think you would want more protein than that, so you don't lose more muscle than you need to while you are losing.

My doctor recommended my ratio and it's individual to my specific medical concerns, but here it is - 55% protein, 15% healthy fats, 30% carbohydrates (no more than 40%).
