So uh, it's been a couple of months that I've been off MFP - offline that is, not off eating sensibly.
IT'S ALL THE APP'S FAULT. OR MY PHONE'S FAULT.
I dunno. All I know is that I went to log my food (which I *CANNOT* do other than on my phone - that was proven during this multi-month study)...and the app wanted my password. WTH?? Like I *know* it??! Then I couldn't find my password book.
Life went on. I continued measuring reasonable amounts of food, and looking for that dratted password. Don't get all reasonable and suggest using the "lost password" help MFP offers. No no. You see, I didn't want to log in here and ADMIT to not logging my food.
If you just started MFP, don't kid yourself that your eating habits are about food. For better or worse they have more to do with whatever psychological baggage you're carrying around.
Here's the thing that prompted me to post this here: my weight's held steady. I know my macros have gotten a little out of whack lately, and I've got a sneaking suspicion some unflattering recomping has been going on...but the world has not ended, and the good habits I've picked up didn't just vanish.
It's taken me a couple of years to get from 236 to ONEderland, which is crazy slow compared to some folks here. But it's okay. The trend is in the right direction, and as I've noticed this last couple of months, better habits are here to STAY!
We're not gonna talk about the apparent phone addiction. No judging, people. NO JUDGING.
May you all have an AWESOME 2015!
