I've lost weight before 21lbs or more like 40lbs if you count the amount of times I've put some back on. Was just wanting some permanent weight loss peeps to help make sure mfp has given me the correct calorie intake for the day and peoples advice on good tips as I would like to lose 40lbs by September. I think this is a realistic goal at 10lbs every quarter. :)

    We have success in my household, where my wife is losing the desired weight as intended/planned through the MFP app. I want to gain weight, which is also working out for me.

    The way we see it. It is not enough to just count he calories. For ex. I have to eat 4000 caliries a day. I could do so by just eating cake, burgeres and/or drink beer. It is the way your food is put together, that matters. It is therefore very important that you stick to a balanced diet if you want to lose weight.
