Myfitnesspal vs Candy Crush

Last night I had one of those surprising little giggles when I realized that the time that I spend on My Fitness Pal is now greater than the time that I spend playing Candy Crush!! I spend more time focusing on exercising, planning healthy meals and reading the Message Boards. Now when I lay down at night I don’t see different colored candies dancing while my eyes are closed. Now I smile; thinking…..I did better today than yesterday and fall asleep being proud that I did something for my wellbeing.

Though I WILL conquer level 549 soon…very soon!!

haha had to giggle when I saw this as the two windows open on my computer are currently (and most often) candy crush and my fitness pal :) VERY ddicting game! I am currently stuck on level 789.

hahahaha I actually downloaded candycrush to take my mind off of snacking in the early days of my weight loss. I'm probably below level 100, it's been a while since I've needed it!

How funny is this - I've never even played candy crush, but I might now. This post made me smile all morning!

My husband plays Candy Crush a lot, last I remember he was on level 500-and-sumthin'. I think I got to about level 100 or so and lost interest.
I play Gameloft's My Little Pony every day, though. Grinding away for gems like a rockstar.

I do play SimCity BuildIt. It's good if you need a game that you can play for a minute and then put away for a while. When I play CandyCrush, I feel like I need to keep playing until I'm out of lives.

That's how my husband is, if he's got lives he's playing. I think whatever addiction that I developed from playing CC, I then recovered from it during the very long wait times for more levels to unlock. :)

789 is evil! I'm stuck there, too. If I'm lucky enough to clear the bombs I still can't get all the greens I need. Evil.

I think the lesson here is that MFP is MORE addictive than CandyCrush, which is probably why it works so well for all of us, lol. :D
