70lbs lost; almost 3lb gain

I've been consistent for a year with holding my weight. I weigh everything on a scale. I stay within 200 of my maintenance level every day. I work out for 180-270 minutes a week.
Out of nowhere I gained almost 3lbs. Assumed it was due to sodium and ignored it. However new week, weight still there.
The only thing I can think of is ovulation. As that occurred this week sometime.
I've never experienced ovulation weight gain before but how common is this? I always gain a little around period time but that's still two weeks out.

It's common I think. Mine will hang on until after my period begins. I only have 2 weeks of good numbers and one of those weeks is always an exaggerated loss because it is higher than normal.0
