Just want to get thoughts on T25 versus P90X. Want to purchase one or the other just not sure which would be better. I want to be able to work out in the privacy of my own home. I needs something that I can do and alternate with my treadmill. Thanks!

I wouldn't compare them at all. P90X workouts range from 60-90 minutes. It focuses on strength training with weights or resistance bands. It does incorporate some cardio vids. But the main focus is strength.

T25 workouts are 25 with a cooldown, so it ends up being about 28-30 minutes. It's a lot more cardio driven with bodyweight training moves incorporated. It does use resistance bands and dumbbells in the 3rd round (which is optional and you have to buy separately).

As the PP mentioned, P90X is much longer in workout length and focuses on strength. There is a P90x3, which is a 30 minute workout, but it is still strength-centered. You will need weights and/or bands (including a pullup bar)

T25 is cardio based, but includes both body-weight exercises and weights or bands in the later phases

I've done both x3 and T25, and T25 is by far my favorite. I got better results - seems my body responds well to lots of cardio

T25 is my soulmate workout. I miss it!! If you want shorter workouts that pack a punch, go with T25. If you want shorter workouts with a P90X program, the 3 is only 30 minutes, or try new InsanityMax30. These were my results from T25 and I would walk or run a few days a week like you are planning, too. http://losingfatwithcat.com/results/
