Hello all. New to the app. But loving it. I am looking for recipes, not involving any sort of seafood, that are high in protein, fibre and healthy oils. I'm not meeting my daily goals in these areas. Thank you in advance.

I make my own salad dressing to get healthy oil in. http://www.afamilyfeast.com/favorite-vinaigrette/ I don't put the sugar in that it calls for.

I find if I am low in a macro, that it is easier to add a little in every meal I have. My family's favourite pancake has all those things in it:

I use milk instead of almond milk.

I think nearly every recipe that calls for oil you can replace with a healthy oil with no harm.

A bread dip I am fond of is flax oil and lemon juice in nearly equal proportions. It is milder than the balsamic vinegar dip served in restaurants.

I made a delicious lentil bake yesterday!

I pieced together a couple different recipes and based it on what I had on-hand. Turned out really good!

2.5 c cooked lentils (I bought them already cooked at trader joes to save time)
    2 c cooked quinoa
    1 can of diced tomatoes
    1 c broth of choice
    garlic, other spices to taste
chopped onions and other chopped veggies of choice (I did carrots, zucchini, kale).
I also mixed in one cup of crumbled feta.
Bake covered at 400 degrees for 30 min or until veggies tender. So good!

Hope you can decipher my typos up there! Can't find a way to go back and edit. Sigh.

I found this on Pinterest. Low carb and even my 17 yr old boy loves it.
1 head cabbage chopped bite size
    1 onion diced
2 - 13 oz butterball turkey smoked sausage
    1 can rotel tomatoes

Sauté onion in a little olive oil
Add sausage and cook to your liking (I prefer with a little char to it but however you like)
Then add rotel and all cabbage.
Cover and simmer about 10 mins
Then toss together, cover and simmer about ten more mins
