Hi. I just joined MFP this week. Reading through many of the member postings I am excited to work out what is a well-guided plan for becoming fitter and healthier. I just celebrated my 51st birthday this month and my goal is to focus less on the pounds on the scale but more and not feeling tired all the time. My energy level is needing a boost and so much of that is contributed to the 40 pounds I have gained over the last 20 years. I especially like the barcode nutrition scanning option and think it will be a great help to not only plan and track healthier meals but a real convenient aid to my grocery shopping choices too. Looking forward to be on board and finding inspiration from others.

I'm 46 in March...I just joined a week ago. Due to arthritis in my hips and an injury...I packed on 17 pounds. I weighed 135...goal weight is 118..exercising everyday and eating clean. I'm on vacay for a month...then back to delivering mail. I'm an ex gymnast and fitness competor so I know a few things I can share.0
