Good Afternoon fellow MFP'ers. Here's a little bit of a background on me. Back in 2013 I started trying to lose weight (for like the 100th time). Throughout the year I managed to lose around 30 lbs and I felt great! My husband was active duty Navy and we were stationed in Virginia. After about 7 months in Virginia, he decided to end his career in the Navy and start a fresh career back home (Kansas City, MO area). So off we went to make the move back home. It became a very stressful time trying to transition back to the civilian world. In that time frame I gained back ALL of the weight that I had lost. I tried off and on all throughout 2014 with no luck and just kept getting discouraged. Well, I am now ready to get this weight off for good! My husband and I have an anniversary cruise planned for this September and I will be turning 25 in October. Those are two big motivational dates for me. Now all I need is to build my MFP support team to help me reach my goals, and in return I will cheer you on and help you reach yours! So, do I have any takers? :)

You have a whole community. What's your plan of action? I'm just starting myself.
  • My plan of action is to make a lifestyle change. Not just try and lose the weight. I am actually paying attention to what I am putting in my body, counting my calories and staying active as much as I can. This time I WILL get to where I want to be. If you would like to send me a request we can help support and motivate each other!
  • Your story sounds very similar to mine. In 2011 I still had baby weight to lose and after 5 months of counting calories and working out I lost 30 lbs. Which was my baby weight plus some! BUT.... I slowly began to fall back into my old habits and of course gained back all the weight. Plus 30lbs! So today at 6'0 tall I weigh 236.4lbs. I have lost 4 lbs since last week. yay! Water weight I'm sure but still! I just turned the big THREE O and I know that I need to get myself in shape sooner than later. I am soooo ready to treat myself better. It's only been a week and I can already tell the difference. I'm here to cheer!
