My fiancé and I will be going to Ireland for our honeymoon, probably November sometime. Neither of us have ever been, and you can only do so much reading in a travel guide before you want to know from people who have been there. So, I am curious, where are the sites to see, places to stay, things to do, etc. etc. I know some of the big places like Giants Causway and Cliffs of Mohar, but anyone have some recommendations of well kept secrets or anything? WE greatly appreciate it!

Hi I'm from Dublin. What kind of thing are you looking for. I would highly recommend the Guinness Store House here in Dublin as a top ten activity

What part of Ireland are you going to? Galway/Connemara is lovely. Galway City is great, and you can do coach trips all around Connemara, visit Kylemore Abby, that sort of thing. Achill Island is worth a visit. Up North, the Giant's Causeway is great, even if it's a rubbish day the new visitor's centre is good. Belfast bus tours are also excellent, lots of information about the Troubles etc. Strangford Lough is a beautiful area, with a couple of stately homes and gardens close by, and the Mourne Mountains too. As far as I know, there are coach tours to all these places

If you do go to Galway though, watch out for the guy in the top hat who wanders around Eyre Square, last time he tried to sell me a horse. :)
