Adding friends from community groups....?

Hi Everyone. I'm new at this and have already added a few of my private friends from contacts, email, etc. but I see that people are able to request friendships from each other on here as well. My problem is, every time I tap on someone's profile, the app takes me to my App Store and tells me to install the MFP to my phone, which it already is installed. What am I doing wrong? Any tips?

Start the app, log in through there rather than through the phone's web browser - the menu on the left will allow you to access the community.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, that is what I have been, and I'm still, doing and it just keeps bumping me to the App Store. Oh well. A bummer, but not the end of the world. Thanks again.
