HI, just getting started here

Apparently I had signed up at this site about 6 months ago and promptly forgot about it. I am back, just starting a challenge put on by our local medical center. The goal will be to track my food and exercise (just connected this app to my fitbit) and do some weekly goals.

The challenge began last week but I had the flu and also was unable to install the app from the medical center. I still haven't been able to do that but figured I'd enter today's food and try to get in some steps before the end of the day, and also get the paperwork done that I need to do so I can give this some focus over the remaining 7 weeks.

I would love to find a category of folks that are also fairly new, and want to stay in touch. I have a total of 40 pounds that I would love to lose this year and I know I can succeed but also that it will take consistency and discipline.

Others out there looking to lose about the same?

    Welcome to your weight loss journey! The easiest way to stay successful is to track consistently. Don't be afraid to the resources MFP has to offer
