Recipes with marinades

When you create a recipe that includes a marinade on MFP, is the calorie and nutritional content correct? I made salmon tonight that sat in a marinade, however, the majority of the marinade was not used. I'm curious how many extra calories I was "charged" with that I didn't use. Thoughts?

    I generally log all the marinade if there's only a tiny amount left in the bag.

    In the future, log it in the recipe builder to get the calories, weigh the finished product, and then weigh what is leftover. Subtract that from the original weight, and you know how much you used.
