A friend and I were talking tonight about the anonymity that comes with being severely overweight. Crazy as it sounds one of the things I fear as I start this journey is losing that anonymity. Any feedback from those who have had a sizable weight loss would be great.

Hi and welcome!! I'm sorry you feel this way. Living in the shadows is not a good way to live your life and to live anonymity. IMO a very bad excuse. You need to embrace losing weight as a lifestlyle and not a diet.

overweight people aren't invisible
visibility is down to attitude
if you don't want to lose your anonymity you won't - so don't let that bother you
good luck on your journey0
