Really Irritated About Clothing Sizes

Ok, I am 5'6", and I usually hover around the high 140s or low 150s. The MOST I ever weighed (non-pregnant) was 160, and that was when I realized I needed to eat better and exercise, and I came down pretty quickly. I'm not thrilled with my looks -- I have a weak chin, and I feel like it looks bad if I have any extra weight. But I also have had total strangers tell me I'm thin (usually in reference to how many kids I have, they'll say, "You don't look like you've had ANY! You're so thin!) I would say I'm "average."

So here's what really bugs me. I like to buy geeky, funny t-shirts from sites like ThinkGeek, RedBubble, W00t, etc. Despite the fact that I'm decidedly average in build, I always have to buy the largest size in the women's cut shirts, and if I'm even slightly bloated they are too tight on me! On top of that, I have pretty small breasts -- I can't imagine how any average sized woman with actual boobs can fit into these supposedly "women's cut" shirts! They're sized for anorexic teenagers!

It's ridiculous that I'm not even overweight, and not especially tall, but I can barely fit into the largest size from these retailers.
