So i have just read on the daily mail about a chap who done 10 different diets in 50 days and lost 30 pounds ( proof will be if he keeps it off).

So my question is this do you think a combo of calorie controlled diet for 2 weeks then 2 weeks of slimming world (then repeat) would help or hinder??? slow weight loss down or speed it up???

All thoughts welcome

    why confuse it ?

concentrate on calories in < calories out and you'll lose weight no matter how it is packaged up

I think: just eat at a caloric deficit.
  • I think if you get bored and the choices are to either mix it up or derail completely, then by all means mix it up. Just know that your success is dependent on your deficit, regardless of what "plan" you use to achieve it. I have done a couple different "diets" throughout my weight loss thus far for this very reason, and it has not hindered me so far, I've stayed steady at 2 lbs a week average.
