ARP Wave Therapy for Shoulder

I have a shoulder injury that has been very painful and a major setback for my workouts, due to pain and lack of range of motion. I've had X-rays done, but they don't turn up much of anything, maybe some minor bone spur, but nothing major. I've been seeing a chiropractor as well as a medical doctor, and the chiropractic treatments have restored some range of motion and eliminate some pain, but within a week of treatment, sometimes I'm back where I started. The chiropractor has recommended something called ARP wave therapy, which apparently has some success, especially with athletic injuries. Has anyone had experience with this therapy? It's somewhat expensive and insurance doesn't cover it.
