I would really recommend you work on being happy regardless of your weight, or you'll soon realise that being 'thin' does not equal being happy.

^This. I feel proud of what I've accomplished by losing 70 lbs, but I'm not any happier.

I agree. Don't get me long. Losing weight has been great. I can bike faster (especially uphill), I can run again without my knees bugging me, I can sit in the middle seat on an airplane without driving the other people nuts. I can lie on the sofa without having to position my gut.

But losing weight hasn't made me happier. There are some things I do enjoy more, but if you're fundamentally unhappy, weight loss by itself is unlikely to change that.

It might lead to some communities or activities (such as sports/fitness groups, cooking classes, etc.) that can make you happier, though.

    Good luck!

Don't wait to be happy! Happy is about your attitude and the choices you make, not about what the scale says.

Probably you want to lose weight, not loose it. :)
