Anybody know how to make the Tae Bo Amped amplifier bar?

I just got the whole set of Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Amped workout DVDs. In the videos they use a 3lb weighted adjustable length (24"-36") bar. You don't have to have it but it is a pain to switch between hand weights and a stick. I thought it shouldn't be too hard to made one. Anybody have instructions or do I have to figure it out?
