Would you log it?

I have started up an old habit of mine from long ago. I was trying to find a way to stay more active during the day, especially when my son would go to sleep, but I had trouble sticking to a routine workout, and I was so low energy that all I wanted to do was watch TV while he rested.
So I turned on the tube. Wanting to do something active I started doing some pacing around my living room/dining room in a figure 8 pattern. I used to do this often a few years ago due to anxiety, it helped me think, and I catch myself doing it while on the phone, or when I am feeling mindless. (I think I also did it while pregnant when it was too hot to walk 9 months pregnant)
I don't know how fast I am walking, but I would estimate somewhere between 2.5 and 3.0mph, and some days I do this continuously for 30mins, and other days I do it for up to an hour and a half. Its nice. I mentally feel like I had this relaxing down time during his nap, but I know that I have burned a couple calories that could help make up for little bites and nibbles. I keep my activity level set to "sedentary," I know that I am a busy body but I figure this way when I go over my goal by a a bit here or there it won't ultimately hinder my weight loss.
My question is, should I try to log this under walking 2.5mph for the minutes that I walked, or do you think this is insignificant and similar to when people log housework? I don't do this everyday. I don't do it on weekends, and I probably do it for an hour or more twice a week, and 30-60mins 3 days a week.

We're only talking about 508 kcal/week or so (2.5mph x 45 min x 2.5 days/week), so whatever choice you make will have little effect on your weight. A certain level of activity is already expected based on your MFP profile, and when you're more active one way you tend to be less active other ways, so a pedometer like the Fitbit would be ideal. But again, this is small thing.0

I doubt it would matter much but walking is walking. I used to log walking when I was first getting into the swing of things too. Especially when you're talking 30-60 minute range.0

Of course I would log it. You're doing some type of exercise!! So what if it's walking inside your home? You're walking specifically for exercise while your child sleeps, it's not like you're gonna log "walking to the fridge and back to the couch", you get me? Like you said, it could help for those bites and nibbles. :flowerforyou:0
