Cravings... The never ending up hill battle!

Hey, guys and gals of MFP :)

Any tips or advice on dealing with cravings or even eating just out of sheer boredom ( As I am very guilty of this!)

    Everytime you think of the food craving you can't eat; think of the satisfaction you will have when you reach your goal!

    If I am craving something, I go ahead and eat a small amount of it, even if it is only one or two bites. I have found it is easier to do that, than to try and outlast the craving. For me, not eating a little bit of what I am craving is a recipe for disaster because it will eventually get to the point where I just give in and totally binge on whatever it is. By doing that, over time, the cravings have become less and less.

    As for eating out of boredom, I will get up and find something to do. If it is getting late, and being active will make it difficult for me to get to bed at a reasonable hour, I will drink a big glass of water. If that doesn't do the trick, I just go to bed early.
