I would like to start having to weigh myself once a week, and I was also wandering what is the best time of day to weigh in? ive seen on like dr oz it's best to weigh in at 7am well I cant do that because I am already on my way to work by then, and also was wandering what is the best day of the week to weigh in? and Should I do it with clothes on or birthday suit?
I know you all probably have read this question a million times.

First thing in the morning......before you eat, dress or even get in the shower.....that is the best time, in my opinion to weigh in......that seems to be the most accurate for me........
As far as what day of the week? I usually do my weigh in on Monday! I do not think it matters what day....0 -
I get on the scale every Monday morning. It doesn't matter if I get up at 5:00 or 6:00 or whatever. I get up, go to the bathroom, get on the scale, and that's it. I like doing Monday weigh-ins because it keeps me honest on the weekends. I don't want to be tempted to eat something on a weekend that I might otherwise regret on Monday morning when I get weighed. The figure on the scales will vary depending on what you have had to eat or drink and also what you are wearing.
I always weigh first thing in the morning before I put the coffee on. I weigh in the nude.
If you are going to wear clothes for your weigh-in make sure you keep your outfit the same each time.(Jeans and a sweater one time and light cotton shorts and a tank top the next will skew your numbers.0 -
Just pick a time that you can do weekly. Your weight fluctuates over the course of the day so as long as you're weighing every week or month at the same time it should be fine. Picking a day really depends on you. If you're a weekend indulger and want to continue go with something mid-week or Friday morning. If you're a weekend indulger looking to quit, try Sunday or Monday morning.0

None of that REALLY matters, as long as you're consistent in when & how you do it. The theory is that you weight less earlier in the day, before you've started to eat, etc. but if you're like me what you're really looking for is consistent comparisons to track progress. If that's the case, then if you weigh yourself the same time of day under the same conditions you will have an basis for comparison. If the evening works best then do that, just do that all the time. Use the same level of dress (or undress) for consistency so that wearing different amounts or types of clothing won't skew your results.
That said - just move more, eat less & better. Track your results by your health & how you feel instead of strictly by weight......0 -
