Starting my diet just before new years eve and have lost 1/2 stone already
finding it really easy and I have to say the food does fill me up.
Would recommend almond milk to my fellow dieters really low in calories.

I really like almond milk but nutritionally I prefer to have cows milk for the protein content:
250 ml skimmed milk = 90 cals, 9g protein, 0.8g fat, 11.8g carbs
250 ml semi-skimmed milk = 125 cals, 9g protein, 4.5g fat, 12g carbs
250 ml Alpro almond milk = 60 cals, 1.2g protein, 2.8g fat, 9.5g carbs
Just because something is lower in calories doesn't necessarily mean it is nutritionally better. Which is best depends on the individual and his/her goals.0
