  • Low fat greak yoghurt sweeetners or hony. Best way glass water whit snack. 1 bite half off glass of water fill your stomach. Work for me. :) Because you fill your stomach whit water you gone eat less snaks. Swap snaks for healthy options like fruit diet snaks.

I'm also a night snacker. I'll eat half of a grapefruit, a piece of chocolate, or suck on a lemon. Those choices have enough of a flavor punch to satisfy my craving.

why do you not want to snack past 7? I would plan your day to include the snack if you know you want snacks

Late night snacking is a terrible issue for me! I try to eat less in the morning to give myself more calories for having a snack in bed. I also do best when I make myself a shake to drink in bed. Its sweet like a dessert, filling and satisfying. I do better when I plan to have one instead of just snacking and grazing.

I would usually just make sure to save calories through the day so I had plenty for night time, when I felt the hungriest. I just started eating less snacks, especially when I knew I wasn't eating out of hunger but out of boredom or just wanting something to munch on (gum can be a life saver).

Meal timing has no impact on weight loss. If you like to have an evening snack, do so. Just work it into your calorie goal.
  • Yes but its 2 types of night snaks. 1 i am hungry i need food. 2 i fool of food but my brain would like a sweet. - in this case drink water. Dont taste right but gone reduce of naughty kclal. ;)

I too am struggling with this. I allow myself to indulge a little on Friday or Saturday nights but try to be good the rest of the week. Last night I was so close to whipping out the jar of peanut butter, but I said I would have a grapefruit first and if I were still really craving something else I would make another trip to the kitchen. The grapefruit...somehow... ended up doing the trick! I also find distractions help (painting nails, brushing teeth). You can also try tea so you have something in your hands.

A little salty and a little sweet?

Skinny Pop popcorn and an apple. That's my trick!

Plan a snack at night. For sweet and salty, how about chocolate-covered pretzels?

Can't help you with not eating after 7...heck, I often don't get to eat dinner until between 7 and 9 (summer it's always 9/9:30).

What I would suggest is leaving about 100-200 calories for a nighttime snack. Nothing wrong with that! I cannot sleep on an empty stomach.

I like a night snack, build it into your calorie count. I do the same, salt and sweet. sometimes kettle popcorn (the best of both worlds) 100 calorie pack. Or apple with pnut butter. I also love pickles and get the bread and butter ( no sugar added)
  • I always make sure that my dinner is the biggest meal of the day, and that it includes something very feeling such as oven baked potato-wedges, and or etc. After dinner I always feel satisfied, and it carries me over until the next morning. For example, it's 9:22 a.m. right now, and I've yet to eat breakfast, but I find that I'm not even hungry, even though the last time I ate a meal (which was dinner) was yesterday around 7:00 p.m.

I leave room for Dreyers yogurt blends ice cream , Hershey chocolate syrup and ritz vegetable crackers at night. Solves the sweet and salty craving.
