Help! Newbie. Burning Calories, Fitbit, something seems off?

Hi there,
I'm completely new to working out and tracking my food and really just starting to learn about everything. I have a fitbit flex and have been working out with Leslie Sansone's DVD's everyday. I really enjoy it and have even been seeing results! (Background info, I'm female, 25 and a little over 300 pounds).

My question is regarding burned calories. The attached image shows two days of activities. gdlp88qbi1wj.png
On Saturday I burned 3,627 calories and walked 4.82 miles, while on Wednesday I burned 3,680 calories and walked 6.41 miles. My concern is that on Saturday all I did was 2 Leslie Sansone workouts and ran errands. I went grocery shopping, ran into a few stores, and then had dinner at my mother in laws. Wednesday I did 4 Leslie Sansone workouts, took a 25 minute walk outside, and swept and mopped my apartment.

I'm not complaining about either number, I just don't understand how I put forth so much effort on Wednesday and got basically the same burn from Saturday when I did half the activity. I know that I probably don't have the most accurate machine out there for tracking, but I'm just getting started - and I would hope it couldn't be off so dramatically. Again, I'm new at this so maybe there's something more to it that I'm unaware of.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure I believe either one. But exercise burns relatively few calories when compared to the calories we burn from just living.

I never trusted my fitbit for this reason, honestly. It just made no sense sometimes, on days with more steps and more active minutes, it showed less calories burned than others... But I just averaged it all and ate 20% under that, and it worked pretty well.
