Wonderful site and wonderful app!
Have started on the weight loss path several days ago. I am male, 5'11" - 200 pounds. The goal is to lose about 30 pounds.
- The problem is I love food and except biking hate exercising. For me jogging or going to the gym is one of the most boring activities known to men!
- That said, I go to the gym 3 times a week and plan to go 4 times a week starting today.
- Thanks for all the support from the wonderful community!

Hi! Congrats on starting your journey! Cardio isn't going to help shed too much fat so don't worry about running too much but it does help with your heart health and stamina so maybe you can run 2x a week. Weights are where it's at if you want to shed the fat and build muscle. Figure out a weight training program that works for you 30-45 minutes a day of real work is all it takes. One day work only on your arms, the next only on your back, the next only on your torso, the next just the legs and have cardio 2x a week. You must have a plan when going to the gym. Once you know why you are there and what you have to do it will go by quickly. Once you find your strength in lifting weights you might actually enjoy it! Good Luck!

Excellent advice! Thanks! That is what I am looking for in this forum. Working out every day for 30-40 min. may work better instead of going 3-4 times for an hour. I will definitely try your recommendation!
