Hi, I started using MFP about 3 weeks ago, and thought it was about time I introduced myself. My weight has been up and down for years, and each time I lose it I say that it will not go back on, but it does. This time I am determined to get it off and keep it off, as I get so depressed when I'm overweight, everything is too much effort, and I have more back pain.
When I started my latest diet I was 168 lbs, which was really bad for my height, I have so far lost 7lbs, and have another 37lbs to lose. I can't stick to a rigid diet, where certain things are banned, so I allow myself a bit of most things and just cut down on the high fat foods and fill up with more veg etc., and have smaller portions. I've stopped fridge picking (I had a terrible habit of having a bit of cheese when preparing meals), I've not had any chocolate bars or sweets, and can honestly say that I've not felt hungry after eating my meals, despite using less calories than I'm allowed most days, although some days I do go over. I've also increased my exercise, but I really need to increase it more, and I'm drinking more water.
Anyway that's a bit about me, looking forward to getting to know some new people, we're all in the same boat, and if anyone would like to send me a friend request I'd be happy to accept.
Sue.
