All my humans make weight loss seem bad...

They are all overweight and embracing this body positive thing. They have good intentions, but make me feel bad when I meantion wanting to be healthier, only adding to my stress of being overweight as well...
I need all the help and guidance I can get.
I am an extremist when it comes to my weight! If I don't think about it, I always over eat and gain.
If I do think about it, I do so too much and try to starve myself to death, which we all know doesn't work.
I am 23 with a 5 year old step-daughter I'd love to set a better example for. I also have a two year old son of my own that could use a better example of healthy habits.
I am in college with no job. My boyfriend is a hard-working diesel mechanic and is also overweight along with pretty much both of our families. And pretty much everyone in this part of the country (Alabama, United States.)
I currently weigh in at a whopping 220 pounds, the most ever! Even more then when I was pregnant! Seeing as I am only 5'1, that's obese. I would be more than happy to be the 130 (..eventually maybe less? Idk) of my high school days.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Girl! Great motivation - keep strong for those little ones! If they never get in the habit of eating unhealthy then they will pave the way for future generations! Moderation is key (but so difficult if you're a binge eater like me!). I'll send you a friend request.
Wishing you determination for your health goals!0 -
Good news - you're in the right place, and you have the opportunity now to be healthier tomorrow than you were today... weigh less next week than you do this week, feel better next month than you do this, and look better, and most importantly FEEL better about yourself along the way. You have the courage to take control of your health!
You have some great motivators in your life - and that's a great place to be... and here, you are surrounded by people who are making the journey with you, and some who can give you great advice, because they have been there too.
All you have to do is not quit. Keep trying. Never give up. No matter how hard it seems, or how long it takes. As long as you take baby steps towards being healthy and setting that example for your kids... You will succeed!
I suggest starting with logging EVERYTHING - every day, 100% honestly. This, by itself was possibly the biggest eye opener for me, as it taught me how to have portion control - and taught me that the way I grew up eating was just not normal portions.0 -
Yup log absolutely everything it helps keep you accountable and on track, also keep everything moderate and remember that its gonna take time, but the sooner you start, the sooner you see results, for me it was seeing the results that kept me going rather than thinking about the end game. Progress is key0
