I am 7lbs away from goal, and according to scooby my tdee is 2105.

I'm starting the transition to maintenance by eating at 5% below tdee.

To those of you who have made the switch when you reached goal, did you gain at first, or was the transition easy? I'm having a hard time convincing myself to eat so much..but I know I have to.

Up your calories slowly and monitor your weight. A maintenance intake is just an estimate and needs to be jiggled until you find what is right for you.

Well I have been eating between 10-15% below tdee. Should I keep it at 10% until closer to goal?

I upped my intake by 100 cals a week and my weight stabilized. I weigh myself weekly and fluctuate usually by 3 lbs or so. Been in maintenance for almost a year now.

Hit your goal, then slowly add in the calories until you have found your new maintenance.

I stayed at 250 calories under TDEE until I hit my goal weight and then increased calories gradually. I lost more at first, then started to normalize as I increased calories. I found it hard to eat the full amount for the first week or so. I think it was mostly just a mental block. I adjusted with time though and soon it didn't seem like much food at all.

What a wonderful problem to have, that's all I can say!

Depending on how much you've lost and how much you've been restricting some weight gain may be expected. You haven't been losing just fat, but also lean tissue and that can come back rather quickly.

Which problem is that? Not being able to eat enough food? I promise you it isn't. It sounds nice but it's quite unpleasant. Unfortunately now I have complete loss of appetite due to some medical issues and it sucks.
