Wait till the morning?

I went to the doctor and he gave me pills for my acid reflux. I think my acid reflux is a result of me eating too much right before bed. The thing is that I am eating all throughout the day and I still cannot hit my macros. The last meal I have completes my daily goal though, so I need it. So for example, it is 1AM right now, and although I could stay up, I would much rather go to sleep and be well rested for class tomorrow. However, there is a bowl of chicken in my fridge worth 35 grams of protein and I need to eat it to complete my day. I am scared that if I eat it in the morning, and count it for today that it will screw me up. Because if I eat 35 grams of protein on Friday for example, but I record it for Thursday, it will make eating on Friday much harder and the pattern will sort of repeat itself, you know (since I'm then playing catch-up)? But I know that going to bed with a full stomach is doing damage to my body. It needs to stop, but I'm hesitant to do so for fear of losing my "gains." What should I do?

Your body isn't some kind of machine that stops burning calories at midnight or distributes your macronutrients in 24 hour blocks. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine if you eat the chicken tomorrow. Yes, you might be more full tomorrow but eventually you'll adjust to larger/more frequent feedings during the day, as opposed to being used to eating at night.0

^^ agreed. Your body doesn't know yesterday's calories vs today's... but if you eat it in the morning, then it's one extra meal you need to fit in for the day.
Perhaps you need to be trying more calorie dense foods? Chicken is great for protein, but beef is also good, and has more fat. 2 macro birds with 1 stone.0
