Looking for help with the numbers (aka hating the scale)

I am looking for friends who also struggle or have struggled and gotten over their hatred of the scale. I lost the weight I needed to lose and am currently mostly in maintenance. I try to stay between 130-140, but I like to be around 135. I'm struggling with letting the scale dictate my mood. NOT everyday, but sometimes. And sometimes I focus on how much I weigh, rather than how I feel or how my clothes fit. It's not all the time. I'm just looking for anyone who also struggles with this to possibly add me as a friend.

I also found recently that I get mad at myself when I don't burn as many calories during a workout as I feel I should. Which is completely ridiculous. As long as I'm working hard and moving that should be what counts. I'm going to try to not let that get out of control.

Please add me as a friend if you think you can help or maybe also need help with these things. :)

Feel free to add me! :)

Honestly, I had to throw my scale out for over a YEAR so I could get over the numbers! It helped! :) Is it extreme? Yes! But I think everyone needs to do it! Now I have a scale again and we have a much better relationship!

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the numbers game that we lose sight of why we're doing all the work in the first place. Why not go radical and throw the scale out and stop monitoring your calories burned for a while and see what happens?
