I bought some cod... hubby's getting tired of the way I cook fish though (basically baked with cajun seasoning, or I bread it with panko crumbs).
Any tasty and easy recipes to make fish? I admit that I haven't found a super tasty fish recipe yet, and it's making me sad (but obviously I don't want it to be a calorie bomb either).

Go on Skinnytaste.com and search recipes for cod or flounder (both whitefish are somewhat interchangeable). Her recipes are amazing and low cal.0

I just recently made a fried fish sandwich with cod. It was SO good! (I didn't log that meal, so IDK how many calories it was, but it was sooo worth it.)

come now, of all posters here, I would expect you to be well acquianted with en papillote.
Try that.0 -
I've also tried putting it in foil with some butter, lemon, and herbs and then baking it! Didn't know it was called en papillote, though! Now I do.0

Then there is spicy kedgeree if you like smoked haddock and eat rice!
I do cod in a sauce made from tomatoes olives and green peppers similar to this even in US measurements I think

How about making a nice little stuffing, rolling the filet around it, then giving it a poach in a nice court bouillon?0

My cooking skills are still pretty limited, lol... I could try putting it in foil though but what is the difference in taste, compared to just baked?0

don't do it with foil, you run the risk of off flavors if using acidic items with the fish.
Use parchment paper. Imagine that it's more steamed than baked, it's definitely not roasted, which is a dry cooking method.0
