How many of you downhill ski? If you do, do you use straight skis or the hourglass shape? I skied for 4 days (mostly blue, and few black) on 18 year old straight skis. Seemed like a good workout- sore legs and lots of sweat. But when I got home, I gained 1.5lbs. I ate about 200 below maintenance but figured the skiing was a good calorie torcher. Any ideas? No alcohol by the way.
