Progress pics - 54 pounds lost in 116 days!

This is my first progress pic post - I have lost 54 pounds!! My friend convinced me to do this post. I have been hesitant because I really do not believe the pics show the progress that I know I have had..if that makes any sense..lol.
On January 26, 2013, I went to the doctor to get back onto my thyroid medication. I was shocked to see that I weighed 280 pounds. I knew I had gained weight. I was wearing a size 24 pants and 4x shirts (26/28). Instead of going home and making a weight loss plan, I freaked out and went through my closet and threw out all the clothes that were too small for me that I was saving for that day I would lose weight and fit into again. I just gave up. This went on for about a week. I was depressed, ate a lot and just felt very low. I was hitting bottom. Meanwhile, my friend on Facebook was doing weight loss challenges each week to lose 2lbs a week. It inspired me. I started a weight loss group on Facebook and one of the members told me about My Fitness Pal and on February 4 I joined. I love this community and really credit the food diary and the inspiring and motivating people on here to my success.
Starting Stats (February):
Weight: 280
Waist - 53"
Hips - 53"
Under Chest - 46"
Chest - 48"
Thigh - 34"
Calf - 18"
Upper Arm - 17 3/4"
Stats as of May 31
Weight : 226 ( - 54 lbs)
Waist: 41.5 (- 12 inches)
Hips: 47.5 ( - 6.5 inches)
Under Chest - 38.75 (-7.25 inches)
Chest: 44 ( - 4 inches)
Thigh: 23 (- 11 inches)
Calf: 18.5 (+ .5 inch)
Upper Arm: 14 (-3.75 inches)
Time frame: 116 Days
Weight loss: 54 pounds
Inches lost: 44 inches

I didn't take before pics. But this was in late 2011. I was probably was around 270-275 pounds.

May 31, 2013 - 226 pounds - changed shirts and realized i didnt take a side shot..lol
I re-sized all the pics and they still get cut off. A nice poster on here told me that if you right click on the pic you can view the entire image. Thanks for your patience!

I think you are one of the gutsiest people I know....I would never have put my pics out there...I wish there were more people lke you in this world.....I have 54 pounds to lose and I have just signed up today...of course, this is not my first trip down 'weight-loss lane'...I have always done well and been able to lose weight...its always keeping the weight off for me that has been the hardest....if you have time, maybe you could respond back...and keep up the good work, you are doing great Sina0 -
