weight traing and diet plan

Hi there im new to fitness pal and want to lose 2 stone, and im vegetarian and what to start weight training tio help get a toned body, if anyones got any advice on how to start,

    Figure out a source of protein. I've known a fair few vegetarians who fall down on that part, my wife included.

    Unless you're a pescetarian?

    Welcome :) Feel free to add me. There are lots of good vegetarian sources of protein: beans, peas, quinoa, nuts, tofu, chickpeas etc etc etc. First thing I'd suggest is to decide on a realistic weight loss goal - unless you have lots to lose, 2 lb a week may not be achievable.

    Then, make sure you log everything you eat. A place where a lot of people fall down is not entering something if they feel that they were cheating on their healthy eating plan.

    You can also make a start on a weight program by setting one up for yourself on bodybuilding.com - you can select the equipment you have available and customize it from there.
