I am a real scruff and slob living with a OCD neat freak. Very volatile combination but lasted 32 years

I tend toward the messy. I don't make my bed every day...if someone called and said they were going to stop by in half an hour, I'd be scrambling to tidy up. But I can be OCD about certain things...like how my dishwasher is loaded.

Oh oh, I can't see little red buttons for too long and blinds have to all face the same way. Other than that, can't think of anything else.

The best way to load a dishwasher is the circular way, just reading an article on it at the moment. What a coincidence!

Plates covered in carbs to be loaded in the Centre of the top shelf to get full force of water.
Dishes with egg or custard close to the edges on the bottom where water travels slower and they soak.
Arrange dishes in a circular pattern so they don't create walls that will block the flow of water. All very scientific!

Oh, I soak it all in water before loading into the dishwasher. Wait, I have to count carbs left on plates, now too? xD

Not so scientific. Coffee cups on the left, handles facing in and back, glasses on the right. I think my fam does it wrong just to piss me off.
