Enough with the excuses!

Last February I weighed 114 pounds ( after 3 years of maintaining a 35 # weight loss) I am currently 61 inches small frame and my start weight was 156#. It seemed overnight that my body came under attack. Every single joint in body were inflamed and after months of tests and finally being sent to a rheumatologist. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (akylosing spondylitis). 9 months of high doses of prednisone and other meds and I qualified for Humira Injection. Finally I started to feel like myself (I could get out of tub without needing help or I didn't have to have my husband get me out of car after work. I say all of this because my illness made me get fat! Well that's what I told myself but after talking to my internal medicine doctor and seeing my weight on paper I decided enough with the excuses!

Yes, I cant run or other extreme excerises but I can walk and watch what I shove in my mouth! 42 days later I am down 12.2 pounds and can't wait to see what my doctor says Tuesday! Guess what I am saying is that I am tired of my excuses!
