Fitbit ...anyone got one ?

I've just brought a Fitbit flex to help me on my weight loss journey ! My question is ..had shy body else got one abs what do you make of it ? Accurate / helpful ...any tips would be welcome ...only trouble I'm having so far is it says for today that I've already burned over 1000 calls but I've only just switched it on :/ help ...thanks

    Set MFP to sedentary and enable negative calories

    Set same goals and time zones on both

    Set your stride length on your fitbit

    It works

    It gets better over time, remember it extrapolates burn for the day based on how much you've moved to that point in time so if you move a lot first thing it will assume the same rate through the day until you next log on and it adjusts again.

    Exactly, it takes your basal metabolism rate and applies it across the day so if you burn say 2,000kcal a day doing nothing, you'll have burned 1,000kcal by midday.

    I just ordered fitbit charge HR, sooo excited!! Sorry, I can't help with your question but I figure I'll have the same issue.
