I was recently diagnosed with ADD. Hoping to be able to hear and share success stories with others.

Yeah, I have it. Was diagnosed over 10 years ago though, and am on meds. ADD hasn't interfered with my weight management at all really.
Some amphetemine-based ADD meds will suppress appetite, but that side-effect was very temporary for me, my appetite returned to normal once I adjusted. I still had to choose to lose weight and put in a lot of effort.0 -
Diagnosed as a child. MFP has helped because I need the visual chart of how much I'm actually eating. Previously, I would give in to impulses, but having to log every bite helps. You can do this!0
