How do you stay motivated despite injury?

So I don't quite know how I did it, but somehow I managed to strain my calf. It's a category 2 calf strain, and I'm under instructions by my physio to stay off it as much as possible and to stop most exercise until it heals, and then to start slowly with the rehab exercises they give me.

The old me wouldn't have cared; I was mostly a couch potato anyway. But, weirdly enough, since I started losing weight, I now like exercise. This means no workouts, no circuit training at the gym, and worst of all, no skiing until it heals. Heck, even my lunchtime walks, which I've grown to really enjoy despite the cold weather, are on hold.

I've been doing what I can in terms of upper body workouts these past few days, but I'm starting to go a bit stir-crazy. I'm also worried about undoing three months of progress, even though I know that's silly because I know I just have to eat at a deficit and my weight loss might slow, but I'll be fine. But I feel so grumpy about it.

How do you stay motivated when injury forces you to slow down?
